The Mars Roundabout’s new design uses a mixture of soft and hard landscaping, which mirrors a similar Mars sponsored landscape in the local public gardens near the company’s Melton Mowbray head offices.
The planting includes colourful and strongly scented Lavender, purple and yellow Dogwood that provides excellent Autumn colour, and Norway Maple trees that will provide a very striking deep purple foliage. A covering of Cotswold chippings is complemented by three large rocks of local Ironstone, with the finishing touches of a number of artificial paw prints being integrated into the design to subtly reflect upon Mars’ branding.
