Aggregate Industries UK Ltd have created a £100,000 nature reserve in the middle of their roundabout as part of an on-going campaign to support local wildlife and environment.
The roundabout now boasts over 20 varieties of wild flower that will provide colour and attract insects and birds.
The roundabout was officially opened by deputy leader of Leicestershire County Council with responsibility for highways transport, Nicholas Rushton.
Mr Rushton said: "The work that Aggregate Industries has completed is part of a County Council scheme offering businesses the chance to brand roundabouts across the country. We are delighted to see the result of landscaping work that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also of benefit to the local environment."
